The Stages
The Intrepid Stage Ride is determined to give you an intimate experience through the best of the Okanagan. The routes will not be released until the night before each ride to ensure you and your fellow riders are in for adventure! Each day you can expect to ride 100 to 170KM each day with a total elevation gain of 7000 meters over the 3 stages.
The Intrepid Half
2017 saw the introduction of the Half category. The Half offers alternative shorter routes each day that still keep all of the spectacular riding you expect from The Intrepid and the Okanagan.
Nothing changes when you register. Select either the full 4 night experience or the shorter 3 night stay, and then decide on the day of each ride whether you want to do the Intrepid or Intrepid Half route.
Half routes will also be kept secret and only released the night before each ride .

Challengers can unite in teams of two. Teams categories are thrice: male, female or mixed. The team time is determined by the time of the last adventurer crossing the finish line.
Soloist
Pull up your socks and choose your most trusted steed. The challenge and competition of The Intrepid awaits.
Each day there will also be a King and a Queen of the Mountain determined by the fastest individual time.

Special Safetti gifts
All Intrepid riders in the past two years have received apparel gifts from Safetti Canada. This past year, riders received an event jersey, vest, neck warmer, arm warmer, and socks.
Safetti Canada combines high-end performance with elegant design. They have produced the 2016 and 2017 editions of The Intrepid kit which has proved to be a big hit with the riders.
Accommodations
Included in your registration is luxurious accommodation. Rest, recuperate and relax at the stunning Predator Ridge Resort, perched high above the majesty of the Okanagan Valley.
- All riders will arrive on Thursday, Sept 27, 2018
- For those who need to be back on Monday, riders can choose to stay for the first three nights, and not the last (Sunday)
- Each rider will be sharing a room with another rider unless they have purchased the single-room upgrade

Food, glorious food
All food provided is lovingly crafted with your cycling appetite in mind. The meals will provide plentiful energy, fulfilling the hungriest and most discerning palates.
- All food and drinks are provided while guests are participating in the Intrepid Stage Ride. Expect the standard to be gourmet.
- Breakfast & Dinner: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- On-course lunch & post-ride meal Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Beer and wine available at the post-ride meal and dinner.
On course rest-stops
Nutrition is important when riding for consecutive days, so we want to keep you fuelled before, during and after. We will provide important nutrition via static and roving aid on course. Each stage will have up to two rest stops, roughly mid-way through the ride, which will be fully stocked with the nutrition you need to keep you going.
This year riders can look forward to two special rest stops, one at Arrowleaf Cellars and one at Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery.
In 2018 we have partnered up with nuun, who will provide all competitors with hydration on-course and help keep them fueled throughout the weekend.
